Guest guest
Dear Shakthajanas, Iam re-starting my story of the temple and my Gurunatha. I used to give a series of articles in the first messages of this group. Has anyone heard of Sorakkai Swami in this group?, If so, they are highly blessed. He is the sage of Narayanavaram now in samadhi. He used to smear ashes on his forehead one day and the sacred mud(thiruman) of Vishnu the next day. He appeared before his disciple in a form which was neither man, nor woman nor a eunuch! That disciple was Sri Govinda Reddy of Kumarakuppam. He used to put the sacred clay of vishnu over the ashes! He(Sri Govinda Reddy was a great yogi and built a temple for Sri Rama in Kumarakuppam, which was given a sacred citation(mangalasasanam) by the 39th Azhagiyasingar. He was also the one who asked Solingapuram advocate, SriNagarajan's mother,"would you like to see me and Sri Rama on the swing?" His father was Perumal Reddy who engaged in intense worship of Lord Narasimha in Kumarakuppam. Lord Narasimha appeared in the dream of Srimathy Rajammal, wife of Sri Azhgasingarachariar, who were childless at that time and were praying for children, and told her to go to His devotee Sri Perumal Reddy. Three sons were born to Sri Azhagasingarachariar and Srimathy Rajammal. The third son Sri Rajagopala Swami who is the founder of the Sarvamangala Rajarajeshwari temple and ashram in Nanganallur is my Guru. (Rajagopala Swami, my dear Gurunatha) The postings herefrom will be dedicated to His story and the story of how he brought the temple and Rajarajeshwari Bhagavathy in the form of Mahashodasi to this world from mere scratch. (To be continued...) At His holy feet, Shreeram Balijepalli Purity, Powers, Parabrahmam... Click to join Rajarajeshwari_Kalpataru How low will we go? Check out Messenger’s low PC-to-Phone call rates.
