Guest guest
Dear Moorthyji, I was busy the last few days with my exmas and will be so till may10th but I found sometime for this query. You said " From knowledge it is clear that we are beyond body " Well, this is not the correct approach. It should not come from knowledge but from yout inner atma. You inner atmic experience should vouchsafe such a thing. Knowledge is a by-product. If there is a vikasiatwa of your atma then knowledge is a by-product, you can create your own veda, your own knowledge. Basing your conclusions from other people's experience is an inept way to approcah God or self. We are both our body and beyond and not just beyond our body. Body is the tmeple of God. Here God refers to the torch of atma in you. Ekam Sat vipraha bahuda vadanthi --THE TRUTH IS ONE BUT WISE MEN SPEAK DIFFERENTLY. This is because " wise men " have different approcahes to God and hence they talk of their routes. ----- Your second sentence " How to experience this? " Well, your question itself contains the answer. The keyword is " experience " God is basically your experience and hence you must seek proactively ways to first satisfy the hunger of your mind. Mind is the axe which seperates/ sunders the heart from the soul-the atma. Atma does not need a confirmation a knowledge base. These are mere crutches. First 'satisfy' the mind. Now, the funny part is mind cannot be satisfied completely. If one answres one question, then another question props up from the first answer and so on. This is the illusory effect of mind. Mana maya is very strong and hence when I use the word " satisfy " . I use it etymologically. Satify comes from the word " satiate " . Satiate means fill. So fill your mind till it gets exhausted and then cries out for real knowledge for the real experience for the real satori. Then seek out ways after this satiation process is fulfilled. This breaks the axe it can no more cut your heart and soul. It does not raise questions anymore and there are more answers. There will form a link whereby there is a blossoming in your heart. May this eternal cherryflower blossom. ----------------------------- How to experience the true identity? How can a layman experience it? Firstly let me tell you that in spirituality there is no layman and a highman! All are equal before the eyes of God. Oneday Moksha or salvation is definite for all. There need not be a mad rush for that. It is foolish. You waste a lifetime rushing behind a utopian thing. Now, there are yogis, siddhas, munis and rishis who are definitely higher than us. But it is all aquestion of time. Just meditate upon what truths they might have hit. Dont resot to mere book reading. This is another prop. It will make you very eloquent no doubt and also highly intellectual but you are nowhere near god but just the masses. Meditate deep inside using any tool. Now meditation does not mean just closing your eyes and sitting in the lotus posture. Anything which yokes your heart and soul. Yoga--Yoking will bring about this state. It might be even in a heartfelt bhajan. Meitation is to happen not to be forced. Now sometimes I see that meditation happens in the breaks in between two meditative sessions when I just function as if Iam 'being functioned'. This then was what I have been trying for. Meditation thus has to happen. But the paradox is that this has to be wrought in tto. First the effort then the stage when one goes into 'effortless effort' When this happens...then you get what you desired in the beginning...the beyondness ...the " other " ...the " higher " beyond your body.
