Guest guest
Dear Sir, " Sri PadukaaM pUjayAmi NamaH " means puja to the Shri Paduka of the deity. Among the puja sutras, this concept is unique in nature apart from other saprya paddhatis ( Puja krama). Yes, we can use " Sri PadukaaM pUjayAmi NamaH " for any deity. If you want to do Tarpana , then you can also add Shri PaadukaaM Pujayami - Tarpayami namah.Regards,Samir--- b2u3 wrote:"brhaman888" <b2u3Rajarajeshwari_Kalpataru Subject: [Rajarajeshwari_Kalpataru] Doing PoojaWed, 04 Oct 2006 15:18:03 -0000Hello,I am new here and don't know sanskrit.I know for goddesses like Shri Tripura Sundari I can use "Om Shri Tripura Sundari Shripadukam poojayami namah".Can I use the same for gods as well like:"Om Ganesha Shripadukam poojayami namah".I know "Shripadukam poojayami namah" means something like "pooja to you". I would appreciate it if you could give me a translation and if it is different for male gods, I would also like the alternative. Thanks ___________Get your FREE 6MB email at http://mail.chennai.neTInteresting Current Affairs columns: http://murtheories.blogspot.com
