Guest guest
Installing the Love Software We live in the Software Age. Everyone knows what a software is: the way in which a computer is programmed. In every department of our activities--medicine, education, transportation, building-construction, book-making, keeping accounts, industrial production, to name a few--computers make their presence felt. One cannot imagine working in a world without computer now. The computers have woven into the very fabric of our day-to-day life. In the following presentation, taken from the cyberspace, a fascinating attempt has been made to clothe the idea of how to practise love through the imagery of a computer programme. Called 'Installing the Love Software,' the message that the following write-up tries to convey is very simple--unless a person consciously tries to replace his samaskaras of hatred and resentments with that of love and forgiveness, he or she cannot become kind and loving automatically. Seen from a practical view-point, it drives home an effective lesson in how to improve inter-personal relationships. We do not know who the author of this write-up is, but acknowledge his literary creation with gratitude. A customer called up the service section of a computer company. . . Customer: I heard you provide Love software. Customer Service Representative (CSR): Would you like to install Love software? Customer: Yes. But I'm not very technically skilled. Give me the instructions and I will try to install. What do I do first ? CSR: The first step is to open your Heart. Have you located your Heart, sir? Customer: Yes I have, but there are several programs running right now. Is it okay to install while they are running ? CSR: What programs are running sir? Customer: Let me see ... I have Past hurt.exe, low-esteem.exe, grudge.exe, and resentment.com running right now. CSR: No problem. Love will automatically erase past-hurt.exe from your current operating system. It may remain in your permanent memory, but it will no longer disrupt other programs. Love will eventually overwrite low-esteem.exe with a module of its own called high-self-esteem.exe. However, you have to completely turn off grudge.exe and resentment.com. Those programs prevent love from being properly installed. Can you turn those off, sir? Customer: I don't know how to turn them off. Can you tell me how ? CSR: My pleasure. Go to your Start menu and invoke forgiveness.exe. Do this as many times as necessary until grudge.exe and resentment.com have been completely erased. Customer: Okay, I'm done. Love has started installing itself automatically. Is that normal ? CSR: Yes it is. You should receive a message that says it will reinstall for the life of your heart. Do you see that message? Customer: Yes I do. Is it completely installed ? CSR: Yes, but remember that you have only the base program. You need to begin connecting to other hearts in order to get the upgrades. Customer: Oops ... I have an error message already. What should I do ? CSR: What does the message say? Customer: It says 'error--program not run on internal components.' What does that mean ? CSR: Don't worry sir, that's a common problem. It means that the love program is set up to run on external hearts but has not yet been run on your heart. It is one of those complicated programming things, but in nontechnical terms it means you have to have love in your own machine before you can find it in others. Customer: So what should I do ? CSR: Can you find the directory called self-acceptance? Customer: Yes, I have it. CSR: Excellent, you are getting good at this. Customer: Thank you. CSR: You're welcome. Click on the following files and then copy them to the my-heart directory: forgive-self.doc, self-esteem.txt, realize-worth.txt, and goodness.doc. The system will overwrite any conflicting files and begin patching any faulty programming. Also, you need to delete nagging-doubt.exe from all directories, and then empty your recycle bin afterwards to make sure it is completely gone and never comes back. Customer: Got it. Hey! My heart is filling up with really neat smiles. Smile.mpg is playing on my monitor right now and it shows that warmth.com, peace.exe, and contentment.com are copying themselves all over my heart ! CSR: Then love is installed and running. You should be able to handle it from here. One more thing before I go... Customer: Yes ? CSR: Love is a freeware. Be sure to give it and its various modules to everybody you meet. They will in turn share it with other people and they will return some really neat modules back to you. Customer: I will. Thank you for your help. Love is running well. But what if I run into problems, by the way? CSR: Please repeat the whole process. You can always call us. We are open 24 hours a day. Guest guest
Dear Prasanna, Love and Love alone.... I thought over a while before writing this mail to you through the group and also to you (cc) personally. Do you practice what you have posted here, though from a different source? If so, may God bless you. If not, kindly start it right now. You know the past, and knowing the past, if you correct yourself now, your future will be very bright. I wish you all the best in efforts. May you understand and appreciate. Love and Love alone.... P.
