Veda and Saptha (seven) Rishis :

In the beginning there was OM which emanated from the breath of Supreme . This was captured by Lord Brahma and

projected OM in all the four directions . This resulted in Cosmic Vubration which ultimately became THE VEDA =

Knowledge - Veda is the direct message from God of Sanaathana Dharma and is the embodiment of all the knowledge

out there to be captured for the benefit of Humanity,

Lord Brahma created Nava(nine) Brahmas out of His body and asked them to go out and capture The Veda and propagate.

Out of these Nava Brahmas first seven were successful in hearing The Veda (SRUTHI) and later on the other two Nava Brahmas

also succeeded in Hearing the Divine Cosmic Vibration . The first Seven successful Rishis attained the status of Saptha

Rishis and they are - MARICHI , VASISHTTA , ANGIRASA , ATHRI , PULASTHYA , PULAHA and BHRIGU.

The later two Nava Brahmas are KRATHU and ATHARVA .

These Nava Brahmas passed on the Veda to AGASTHYA , VISWAAMITHRA , and GAUTHAMA .

In turn The Veda was passed on to next generation - KaNva , Jamadagni , Bharadwaaja , Paraasara and Doorvaasa .

In stages the Veda was remembered by these Primordial Rishis ( SMRUTHI ) who taught the knowledge to their desciples.

Then came along VEDA VYAASA who codified The veda into Rig Veda , Yajur Veda , Saama Veda and AtharvaNa Veda .

108 Upanishads , four Upavedas , six Vedaangas , six Saasthras , etc

Various Rishis contributed thei own interpretations as Smrithis - Manu , Gauthama , Paraasara , Yaajnavalkya smruthis etc.

Vedas have been classified as BraahmaNas and AraNyakas .

Sarvam Khalvidam Brahma . Brahma vith Brahman . Prajnnaanam Brahma . Om Thath Sath.

This is also known as Mukkoti Ekadasi as it pertains to 3 crore (30million) Devathas . This is known as Nanjunda Ekadasi for Lord Shiva Bhakthas.

Another name is Utthaana Ekadasi. This is the last important Ekadasi in Dakshinaayan and probably most important Ekadasi.

Significance : Lord Vishnu got up from His Yoga Maaya hence Utthana Ekadasi. This is the day Lord Vishnu distributed Amrutham in the guise of MOHINI to all the Mukkoti Devathas. This is the Day that Lord Shiva saved Humanity and the Environment of Universe by swallowing the toxic highly hazardous

Toxic Poison HAALAA HALAM , the polluting byproduct of KSHEERA SAGARA MATHANAM ( churning of Milky Ocean by Daanavas and Devathas.
