Guest guest
Dear brothers and sisters, Recently I have come across an interesting posture of Lalita Mahabhattarika as Kamada or Kamadayini-one who fulfills desires. The Great Cosmic soverign is seated in the simhasana with folded rightleg and the leftleg put frontwards. She is red complexioned with Pasa, Angusa, sugarcane bow and five tanmatras.Images and Pictures of Rajarajesvari seated in this posture are rare. It is believed that worshipping Devi in this posture with Lalitasahasranama shall bestow positive results. There is another posture of SriRajarajesvari with folded left leg and right leg put frontwards.Other symbols are same. Images and pictures are very popular unlike the former one.Devi in this posture is known as Jnanadayini or bestower of Para and aparavidyas- spiritual and material knowledge. I request comments from the Shakta fraternity Dr. Harishankar
