AATHREYA - SOORYA - Part Two

Soorya is the presiding Diety of Soorya Vamsa Kings of Ikshvaaku

Dynasty to which lineage belongs Lord Raama.

Sun represents the AGNI (fire = Teja) Element of Pancha Bhoothas

(five primordial elements)

Soorya is the Lord of Jyothish Chakra , Lord of Jyothisha Grahas (

Nava Grahas)Ravi is middle aged -

5 and a half billion years old and selflessly burning His energy by

Nuclear Fusion for the benefit of all of us.

Aha is day time ; Raathri is night time.

Aha is 30 Ghattis and same is Night. Aho-Raathra is 60 Ghattis=24

hours.

Saavana Aho-Raathra is from one Sunrise to another Sun rise. Sun is

the presiding Lord of Saavana Aho-Raathri.

Sun is the Lord of Sunday = Aadi, meaning first, Vaaram = first day of

the week; but unfortunately Sunday is

wrongly considered as the last day of the week ; what a travesty of

Truth.

For persons born at a particular time Ravi Mahaa Dasa lasts SIX

years.

Soorya sojourns in one raasi for Thirty Days and His sojourn in a

Nakshathra (KAARTHE) lasts 14 days.

Ravi represents Aathma = Soul ; He represents Lord Raama ; Sun is the

King of our very existence.

Chandra,(son of Athri and Anasooya), Kuja(Angaaraka or MangaLa, son

of Bhoo Maatha) and Brihaspathi(son of Angira)

are friends of Ravi.

Buddha(son of Chandra and Thaara) is Ravi's Peer.

Sukra(son of Bhrigu) and Saturn (son of Ravi Himself) are enemies of

Soorya Bhagavaan.

BUT SOORYA IS MITHRA FOR ALL.

Lord Aadi NaaraayaN narrated Original Bhagavd Geetha to Soorya and

Lord Soorya is the Proktha of Sukla Yajurveda

and Guru of Lord Hanuma and Yaajnavalkya.

Aadithya Hrudayam narrated by Agasthya (Kumbha Sambhava) to Lord

Raama at the beginning of war with RaavaNa

Brahma bestows Health and Victory.

OM THATH SATH. Bhaaskaram PraNamaamyaham.
