Dear Sriram Ji, Namah Shivaya! I have heard from several different sources that the year 2012 is the year of ascension of Mother Earth to a higher dimension of consciousness. That in the process, around 3/4th of the population might vanish and significant geographical changes may occur!! It might be ridiculous to ask the truth behind it but I would be curious to know about it. Seeking Amma's blessing Ashish

Dear Member,

 

Such dooms day prophesies abound. No one knows when even the next

earthquake can occur or when a Tsunami can occur much less a mini-

pralaya involving 3/4rths of the population of the world to vanish!

 

The Mayan Prophecy of the deluge of 2012 has to be interpreted as

maybe an ascension of three-fourths of the population of the world

being lifted up spiritually. I do not see this too as a possibility

as every soul takes its own time to evolve.

 

These prophecies have been written in a hidden language referring to

something else and hence the plain meaning if taken will only be an

asinine venture.

 

 

The Hopi and Mayan elders do not prophesy that everything will come

to an end. Rather, this is a time of transition from one World Age

into another. The message they give concerns our making a choice of

how we enter the future ahead. Our moving through with either

resistance or acceptance will determine whether the transition will

happen with cataclysmic changes or gradual peace and tranquility.

The same theme can be found reflected in the prophecies of many

other Native American visionaries from Black Elk to Sun Bear.

 

If you are steadfast in your devotion to Divine Mother and cling to

Her name/mantra, you need not fear anything. The date given by dooms-

day predictors 21-12-2012 is not correct. Do not be fooled by the

scientific mumbo-jumbo they write in these so called " spiritual "

sites proclaiming the end of the world.They put that there to give

credence to their ideology. Some sites having prominent " spiritual "

persona have even put a time meter showing we have only this many

days and hours and seconds left. All this is outright silly and a

proclivity to fleecing people of their money, playing with their

fear complexes/escapist tendency(inborn in every human being).

 

Not one site however, surprisingly says that their " leader " can

thwart the end of the world! Then why do their mantras? We can all

as well die chanting the name of whatever God we prefer or with a

smile on our faces.

 

All these create unnecessary paranoia in the minds of people(people

in kaliyuga are paranoid even if the plumber does not come to fix

the faucet!).

 

So don't fear anything. Attack the demon of fear the moment you see

it. Crush the hood of this dirty snake under the name of Amba,

Divine.

 

Chant the Holy Name

Sprinkle around your soul, the flame

That devours the subtle body slowly

Turning you into a devotee

 

Caste, creed, religions

Are only bodily designations

Supersoul, our hearts contain

Neglecting Her is the greatest bane

 

With a straw in my teeth

My sincere request, meek

Chant the Holy Name

There is no greater gain
