Guest guest
Dear Tambi Ayyappa, YES! Very definitely. For a start, you can donate to or buy products of Udavum Karangal: http://www.udavumkarangal.org/the_man_behind.aspx Then you may also donate money to T.Raja of New Ark Mission Bangalore. by clicking here : http://www.brighthope.org/projecttop.asp?projectid=232 You can also send amounts to Subramanyamji We are doing under the Smarthrugaami Dattavaibhavam group activities. latest program of supplying water to the poorest of poor tribals living in srisailam area. They do not have potable drinking water and come for water also many hundreds of miles. We are also planning to supply clothes and medicines for them. Our plan is to supply atleast one wearable cloth, a towel and a blanket to protect them form the chill weather of Srisailam. Since you stay in Malaysia/Singapore you may send your donation directly to Subramanayam Bharathula LIC, Markapuram Prakasam District Andhrapradesh India. You might also look at our service activities at www.parasparadevobhava.blogspot.com ---------------- Future plan: The services we are doing now can be streamlined into a registered organization called Tri-Sahayam(this is my dream project w.r.t. Humanatarian services). Tri-sahayam will do three works(which we are doing unofficially now collecting whatever little funds we have(Iam even giving my meager stipend amount Iam getting here at college here at USA to Subramanyam and gathering funds for our service activities in Andhra). 1. Medical help(Vaidya sahayam) to the poorest of the poor 2. Food and water help(Annodaka sahayam) 3. Education and rehabilitation help( Vidya sahayam) Right now the situation is 1. Iam a student eeking my life out here in USA. 2. Subramanyam Garu is employed in LIC in a small position And we have joined hands for many years to do such services. Both of us are young in our late twenties and are willing to do as many varied services as possible. In Andhra, we do not have any organized netwrok of social services except a handful and thus, to mobilize support, funds is a herculean task. The need is great there as there is a poverty triangle area in Andhra where people have not even seen electrification!! Iam trying to work with Redcross society of Switzerland to help but till now I have not heard any response and they ask for regsitered organizations, ISO certifications, etc. But with people like you and other gorup members, we might make progress fast. Shreeram Venkatraman(my friend in Cincinatti) is also likeminded like you. We can soon setup soon. One man is enough, Ayyappa, Believe me, One man is enough to change the consiousness of the world!
