Guest guest
Dear Shreeram, I read your writeup & re-read it maybe a zillion times. You have written so wonderfully. It has inspired me to look upto the divine family as my own. My problems have not ceased but now I have a new interest, a new aspiration, a new hope when I look at Amba. Please do add more of your thoughts regularly to this group. You have helped so many people who came to you for advise but I was not in a position to help you when you needed a small paperwork. Sorry about that! Hope you have forgiven me for it! Keep up the goodwork! Is it possible for you to post on Srividya? And also on Khadgamala Stotra? Guest guest
Dear Sarita Ma, Normally I have sen that when I approach someone(handful I approach) for some help only very rarely it gets done. This is Amba's way of telling to me to depend on Her more than any human agency. Yes, the paperwork was done amicably and now I have even long forgotten my request to you, till you reminded me of it now! Please do not feel guilty on that count. It was a small matter!(In Tamil we use the words " Sappa-matter " !! Hehe!---so don't worry on that count). I was wondering where you were all these days and whether your situation has improved or not. Iam doing fine and have long finished my MBA. I have hitherto posted on Khadgamala and will post again soon. I remember my last post for you was on Annapoorneshwari Mantra and the deity. Hope you fond it useful. Srividya is a vast subject and everything from Khadgamala to Navavarana puja, mantras, etc are all included in it. Most of mantras are not revealed by me unless my Gurunatha gives me the permission. Try to visit the temple in Chennai and gain the blessings of both Guru and Goddess. My situation is the same though I have gathered strength to forget about all my worries, tensions & problems. I just need Sri Lalitha Devi/Amba to show me a way or path. I read your past postings on Srividya & Sri Khadgamala Stotra. Love reading all your postings. Please keep up the good work! Guest guest
Dear Rajiv, I was mulling over your post. My ultimate plan was to build a small temple and commune with Meditation Ashram for people who love Divine Mother, Tantra and Meditation. I have been trained in Taoism and follow many Taoist precepts in my life. One should go with the flow of the " Tao " (or nature) in all things. Your idea of problems being three pronged is good as in 1. Health 2. Relationships.--Emotional problems can be clubbed here. 3. Monetary. However, underlying all these is the " spiritual problem " . Why does health take a bad turn all of a sudden for a person who has healthy habits? And even if the person has bad habits like say smoking, what was his inclination to take up the habits? Why do relationships turn sour? Why do peopel suddenly behave badly and then end up repenting later Why do people lack money or rather money-consciousness? These if tackled from a spiritual angle alone can give a perfect solution. The matters, problems and solutions I see is of these types. Here,I refrain from giving a very broad guideline or definition of problems or a blanket solution to all maladies of life: 1. Soul and its underlying Karma.(this includes why certain people mate and some don't) 2. Past birth taints and tendencies(Vasanas). 3. Vibrations(Of the environment and people surrounding the person). 4. Cell level spiritual storage(as in atvistic tendencies and karma transferred from ancestors and why the current soul was drawn to a particular family to be born with a karmic undertone) 5. Light of Srividya and meditation. 6. Guidance of a proper unselfish Master. 7. Proper scriptural understanding and how to intergrate into modern life. 8. Actual practices and maintenance aspects. Our Devi-commune must address all these 8 issues and also help people. Have you heard of the Jewish Kibbutz? The following is some information for you from Wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kibbutz A Kibbutz (Hebrew: ÷éáåõ Translit.: kibbutz Plural: kibbutzim Translated: gathering, together) is an Israeli collective community. The movement combines socialism and Zionism in a form of practical Labor Zionism, founded at a time when independent farming was not practical or, somewhat more accurately, not practicable. Forced by necessity into communal life, and inspired by their ideology, the kibbutz members developed a pure communal mode of living that attracted worldwide interest. While the kibbutzim lasted for several generations as utopian communities, most of today's kibbutzim are scarcely distinguishable from the capitalist enterprises and regular towns to which the kibbutzim were originally supposed to be alternatives. Today, farming has been partially abandoned in many cases, with hi-tech industries very common in their place. --------------- There are lot of Kibbutzim even today in Israel. These have produced the maximum number of Noble laureates in the world,75% of Jewish intellectuals come fromt hese Kibbutzim --------------- But our purpose is not mere dry intellectuality. We must build a strong commune on the basis of the 8 points I have outlined above to take a practical note of today's situation. Once we start this Devi's commune by the name ''Rajarajeshwari_Kalpataru'', Iam sure we will have 1. Spiritual wing 2. Charitable wing 3. Intellectual wing 4. Practical wing. This will then form a small part of the mini-networked Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam as you said. Hope you synergize with my views on the subject. Yours yogically, Shreeram Balijepalli
Guest guest
Hello , You made some absolutely vital points here , Jewish people for that very reason in general became very strong nation their communities are very supportive of each other in all aspects of life where spirituality and materialistic life inner play with one another. I recently moved to Washington state from NYC huge cultural shock and now can see how truly people are very isolated in general no guidance in any aspect so it seems. very beautiful thoughts Shreeram ! Guest guest
Dear Ramakrishnaji, I will answer the question based on the 8 points I gave: 1. Soul and its underlying Karma.(this includes why certain people mate and some don't) ------>I have my personal Karma and the temple and the commune will also have its Karma and thus Amba will decide to accelerate or decelerate the project according to her Iccha-shakthi. I will try to please her Kriya-shakthi by doing sadhanas for the same and also meditating. 2. Past birth taints and tendencies(Vasanas) -------> My past birth taints(negative) if any have to be removed by a conscientious practice of Srividya and cultivation of meditative sessions in me more powerfully for the success of this project. 3. Vibrations(Of the environment and people surrounding the person) -------> This is the most important part of completion of the project as it is a commune and which means it will involve a community. A good Amba-vibratory community must come forward on its own and when it happens then the project will be on the fast-track mode. I can act as a catalyst for this. 4. Cell level spiritual storage(as in atvistic tendencies and karma transferred from ancestors and why the current soul was drawn to a particular family to be born with a karmic undertone. -------> Here the reference is to my Guru-Parampara(Guhananda Mandali) and my Guru Mandala and their adeshas(divine directives) on the same. I have asked my Gurunathar for guidance and He said, " One day you will do it, you have been born for this " 5. Light of Srividya and meditation ---------> This point is but obvious but one should make a research further and get more knowledge and put it into practice too.For the temple Parasurama Kalpataru and other texts will be the basis. I have a Koorma-prasthara design in mind and will have to consult further with my gurunatha on the same.Amba's permission is also to be sought. 6. Guidance of a proper unselfish Master. ---------> We have here an able guide in my Gurunatha and my Guruparampara. 7. Proper scriptural understanding and how to intergrate into modern life. ---------> This will include whether practices like Dashamsa(titihing which Christians do), Annabali,Yantra niramana, modern collective efforts, charitable side-byes are to be adopted. 8. Actual practices and maintenance aspects. ---------> This would involve, how do we propogate the Nama of Amba, Srividya in its pristine form without diluting or compromising for the sake of public the ideals involved. And also take care to maintain the sanctity of the Srividya esoteric worship as per the dictums of our sampradaya is what is to be seen . ------------ Hope this helps...
