We seems to have a lot of websites which gives details about tantra. Most of them have taken the vamachara concepts of tantra. Then we have the neotantra produced by western scholars who have do not seems to have got the real tantra. Srividya is a gupta which is not revealed to the public. Now everybody seems to get the mantras even in a Rs 2 book as well. Previously Sri Vidya upasakas never used to come into the public arena and gave lectures about Sri Vidya. In tantras it is mentioned that sadhaks have to be in real secrecy. The outside world still have the notion that tantra is about woodo and black magic and some neotantrics have been successful in establishing that tantra is equal to kamasutra. God only knows how these people came into conclusion. Recently I was seeing someone in search of srividya pooja books, seeing and doing from it is dangerous.it can impart more bad things than good things. Sri Vidya we always need to have a proper guru to guide. If you did not find one wait for it and till then you can follow the general bhakti marg. Get the eligiblity and then try to immerse yourself in Sri vidya. Sri Vidya is not a thing of curiosity. Curiosity is good but can be dangerous as well.
