Also tell me same about YAJNA. Is it YAGYA or YAJNYA or YAJNA ? I am also having confusion about vowel ( maatraa) of 'AM' . This is generaly shown by one point over letters. Guest guest Posted June 3, 2008 Report Share Posted June 3, 2008 1.Pruthvi is correct. 2.Yagnya(Yag as in " egg " but without the mahaprana(or stress on " e " too much, -n-(as in the english word " in " ), ya as in ( " yaar " of colloquial Hindi which means friend) " Yag-n-Yaa " " An " is wrong but some use it for sabr-mantras. " Am " is correct.
