Dear Members,

One of my Gurunathar's disciples asked if a desire could be fulfilled as soon as it was expressed. My Gurunathar answered that if the desire were put forth in true form it would be fulfilled.

Desire is but a form of prayer, it was the true form of prayer which Jesus or Muhammed or Buddha or Mahavira or even Lord Rama(while praying at the shores of Tamizhnadu to reach Lanka to Lord Shiva) used, as their prayers were answered, prayer which is always answered must be true prayer, therefore must be scientific and, if scientific, must be according to fixed law.

Consequently, does this mean--Prayers which are not answered are not true prayers? I would remain mum here, not always is the anti- of a statement the antonymal part. Maybe, the karmas are great and the prayers are not sufficient.

However, here too one can safely say that, if the person is intuitive, then He/She will know how much is the right amount of prayer to Devi to do for a particular situation.

"The law is 'As you know ,your prayer is granted', and 'What things you desire, when you pray, know you receive them and you shall have them'.(This is taken from the Bible and it is true). All what is written in modern day books like "Secret" or "Law of attraction" is based on this single statement from Bible.

This Biblical statement has an origin in Vedas too.Frequently Kama (desire) is interpreted to be only a reference to love, in particular sexual love or sexual desire. But this is only the strongest or more correctly, the most basic form of kama. Kama is basically enjoyment. While enjoyment is strongly associated with the emotional mind (manas), it can also have a higher spiritual manifestation. This would commonly be referred to as kama-apara and kama-para or lower desire and higher desire. In a sense, the Rg Veda is about the fulfillment of desires. Obviously some of these are the lower interpretations (kama-apara) of the Vedas; with people wanting cows, prosperity, among other things.

Certainly the Atharva Veda has rituals for the desire of a husband, wife, or other desire. While these could be viewed by some as apara or lower, they certainly play an important role as the soul witnesses the play of karma. And these same desires have a higher manifestation. Such as cow representing physical or mental/spiritual prosperity, they also represent mental and spiritual prosperity on a higher level. Occasionally these are also referred to as the inner and outer forms. So the same teaching can be applied to the higher and lower forms.

The Atharva Veda also deals with the desire for health and wellness. Certainly these are desires that do need to be addressed and would be valued by most people in society. So obviously there is a more expansive view toward Kama than the narrow meaning of just sexuality.

During these chants, mantras, tantrical procedures dedicated to divine mother, the intent of the doer is mixed with the vibrational enegries of the mantras and thus an easy visualizational process of the lower mind(subconscious mind) is triggered and this connects through the middle mind(conscious mind) to the higher mind(super-consciousness).

If we know positively that whatever we have asked for is ours already, we may know that we are working in accordance with the law. If the desire is filled, that we may know that the law is fulfilled. If the desire is not filled, then we must know that we have asked amiss. We should know that the fault is with us and not with Goddess.

Then the instructions are, "You shall love Amba Rajarajeshwari, your Mother, with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength(as Jesus said)'.

Now if one goes deep, deep down within one's own soul - not with foreboding, fear, and unbelief, but with a glad free, thankful heart, knowing that that which one stands in need of is already theirs.

The secret lies in getting the at-one-ment, getting the consciousness of it and then holding firmly and never deviating, though all earth should oppose.

I again quote Jesus here: 'Of myself I can do nothing', said Jesus. 'The father that dwells in me, He does the work'. Have faith in God. Have faith and doubt not. Have faith and fear not. Now remember there is no limitation to God's power. 'All things are possible.'

Jesus got these instructions from His guru Chethananatha of the Natha sampradaya in Tibet/Himalaya region and His original name of Ishanatha was corrupted as Jesus. The father here refers to Paramashiva.

I had certain meditative experiences which directly referred to the truth of these statements.

Use positive words in making your request.

There is naught but the perfect condition desired. Then plant in your soul the perfect seed idea and that alone.

Now ask to manifest health and not to be healed of disease, to express harmony and realize abundance - not to be delivered from inharmony, misery and limitations. Throw these off as you would discard an old garment. They are old and only outgrown things, you can afford to discard them joyfully. Do not even turn to gaze upon them. They are no-thing - nothing.

These statements are too from Sanathana dharma: Satyam Bruyaath priyam Bruyaath even for self-talk.

Fill the seemingly blank spaces about you with the thought of Devi, Infinite creatrix. Then remember the word Devi/Hreem is the seed. It must grow.

Hreem Rajarajeshwari Paradevathaayai Swaha!

Leave the how, when, and where to Devi. Your work is merely to say what you want and to give forth blessings, knowing that the moment you have asked, you have received. All the details of this bringing forth is the work of Devi. Remember, She does the work. Do faithfully your part, leave and trust Mother's part to Her. Ask. Affirm. Look to Mother for what you want, then receive Her fulfillment.

Keep the thought of Mother's abundance always in mind. If any other thought comes, replace it with that of Mother's abundance and bless that abundance. Give thanks constantly, if need be, that the work is done. Do not go back again to the asking. Just bless and give thanks that the work is done, that Mother is working in you, that you are receiving that which you desire, for you desire only the good that you may give out the good to all. Let this be in silence and in secret. Pray to your Mother in secret, that is why srividya is such secretive pooja modality and your Mother who sees the secret of your soul will reward you openly.

When the demonstration is complete, you will look back upon the time faithfully given as one of your greatest treasures. You will have proved the law and you will realize the power of your word spoken in faith and blessing. Remember that Mother has perfected Her plan. She has poured out and is continuously pouring out, lovingly and lavishly upon us, all good and every good thing that we can desire.

Yours yogically,

Shreeram Balijepalli
