Guest guest
Dear Group Members, As the group membership keeps increasing multifold and also group activities are also increasing proportionately, I have decided to change the rather lengthy name to a simple name, in keeping with the principles of simplicity. Iam happy to note that what started as a fledgling group with just two people!(Subramanyamji obviously being the other member) has now grown into a big group with the maximum number of members in the Datta groups online. I do not believe in mere slogan chanting, and lip service but also Manava-Seva. Here my Datta-Field sevak and Datta-Bhakthiman Sri Subramanyam Bharathula(who is my co-moderator for the other group of mine-Datta-Yoga) has done good service in India to run high the banner of this group and the principles of Datta-seva to the poorest of the poor. Whenever I have a chance to serve people, I take the opportunity through these two groups(Rajarajeshwari_Kalpataru and Smarthrugaami- Dattavaibhavam, the names being changed today(Thursday) as Srividya- Tantra and Datta-Yoga) to perform the same. Hitherto my services to the poor and destitute in India and here (USA/Canada) had been just from my side and as a one-man army. Now with these two groups where I deliver messages which will work on the hearts and minds of people, I have a big army of compassionate and divine people. When with no money, resources, just being a student and Subramanyam Garu(just elder to me by a couple of years), at an young age, having no powerful contacts or Godfathers, have managed to touch, with the sacred graces of Datta and Amba and our Gurus respectively, the lives of many hundreds of people in India and abroad in providing medicine and health to the poor, supporting Vedic and Tantric studies, preventing psychological problems and counselling for various issues from suicide to severe depression just by words, I thought why not start this as a bigger movement in a registered fashion. Initially, the response was really poor, but as the popularity kept increasing (for once the marketing principles which I learnt in my B- School has been put to good use!) many people cameforth to give more for spiritual work-including tithing(giving 10% of one's income(not wealth) for spirituo-charitable purposes). In this, name and positioning this group is very important among people to capture their attention and also help this noble cause. Among the many services which we as a team have achieved(they have been blogged @ www.parasparadevobhava.blogspot.com) 1. Providing free treatment for 500 families which were stricken with Chicken Gunya in India 2. Providing food, clothing, books, slates, etc to poor and handicapped students 3. Providing relief for blind children 4. Health facilities and acces to medicines 5. Annadanam 6. Other charitable programs 7. Spiritual services--(The latest being th Kubera and Mrutyunjaya Pashupatham were we have been able to collect a substantial amount and get the rare spiritual ritual done in Nandyala, Andhrapradesh, India.) Every rupee/dollar given is accounted for and acknowledged with gratitude. I bow at the feet of every patron who have made these two groups of mine(nay! yours) a success Shreeram Balijepalli Group Owner
