Dear Members,

Shantananda Swamigal of Pudukottai...

One more correction.(Iam thankful to Ballakrishnen to point it out). The photo which was posted for Shantananda Swamigal is wrong(It is that of Jyothir Mutt Swamy, Brahmananda, I think I copied from my saved folder online and posted the wrong photo).Below is the correct photo.Sorry for the blooper.

My house in Chennai is in West Mambalam just behind the Murugashramam.Murugaashramam is being run by Swami Shankarananda. I used to attend the Muruga Bhajans and Vazhipaadu.I also used to talk with Him regarding certain spiritual issues.

Shankarananda Swamy of Murugaashramam(Standing) disciple of Shantananda Swamy(sitting)

I also recollect one similar case which happened recently in Murugaashramam of a similar kind wherein one elderly gentleman had performed a particular kriya for a powerful deity and his whole body started burning. It was Shankarananda Swamigal who appeased his Yoga-ushna by applying Vibhuthi and asking him to sit and watch Muruga Vazhipaadu.

For more information contact: Om Sri SkandasramamUdayapatti, Salem - 636 140 IndiaTel. (0427) 240660 Or e-mail to Skandasramam Trustee S. Thiagarajan syscon

Shaantananda Swamigal entered into Maha-Samadhi on 27th May 2002.

My humble pranams to Both the Swamis,

Yours Yogically,
