Dear Brothers,

Jayosthu Paramba !!!

Last day when i was listening to Sundara Kandamu by M.S. Rama Rao, a doubt arose in my chanchala mind. Sreerama Annaya & Learn-ed Members please clarify.

In Ramayana, they say Mighty Raavana won over ashtadhikpaalakas, when fighting with Yama Dharma Raaja. Dhikpaalaka tried to use Yamapaashamu on Raavana, at that instant Brahma Deva forbade Him to do so, so Yama Dharma Raja accepted the suzerainty of Raavana.

Also in aghora series, Vimalaanda says - "Dhikpalakas were made to lie on the steps to throne on the stomach, when Raavana used to ascend throne, he used to step on back of these Devathas & ascend....

Such was the greatness of Raavana (OR Vara prabhaavam of Eeshwara on him)

Now doubt is, In sundara kandamu when Aksha Kumara tries to win over Lord Anjaneya. Lord Kills him with His Teeth & Nails in an instant. When this news reaches Raavana, he is worried & wails....

Was it not possible to Raavana to revive Aksha Kumara when he won over Yama Dharmaraja & Dhikpaalakas instead of wailing ........ Like Maharshi Shukraacharya ???

OR

Raavana won over Yama Dharmaraja (Death) with respect to his death, not all beings ???

Eeshwaree Rakshatu !!!!!

Thanks & Regards,

- Sri Sainath J.O.
