Hi All,

 

While we are expecting BJP to release all temples from governmentcontrol, when it comes to power, one of the existing independanttemple, the chidambaram natarajar temple is being grabbed by thegovernment.

The chidambaram temple has been maintained by a small community called"Dikshithars" for more than 1000 of years.They have been continuously targetted by both periyarists andcommunists for more than 20 years.

And now, they have succeeded from extracting judgement from madras HC,and the temple has been taken over instantly before the copy ofjudgement came to dikshithars. Also, the hundial collection has beenconfiscated on the first day itself.

An online petition has been created to oppose this government move,which is given below.
