Devi kritis

Dear upasakas,Pranam. I want to know about two keerthanas about devi. eventhough it is not coming under the scope of this group, I am requesting the learned to enlighten me with the details.(1) I have heard long back one kriti whcih have this lines somewhere '' om jagatjanani manonmni omkara rupini kalyani......' (2) I also heard a tamil kriti with the following lines ' nan oru vilayatu bommaya jagat nayakiye umaye unthanukku ......'I want to know whose kritis are this ,if the full text available and any famous singer sung this. I know the group owner will know all this because of his deep knowledge in sangeetha shastra.thank you and namaskaram,asok

Dear Asokan,

 

The second Keerthana has been sung by Maharajapuram Santhanam, you can get in

any store which sells Carnatic Classical. I guess even the first one is also

sung by Maharajapuram Santhanam.

 

Shall update you on all the information.
