Guest guest
Dear Shaktakaur! When I was young, I was a rebel and vowed that I would never be like my parents. Everything they did seemed wrong, and it looked as if I was a better person and would do all right. Now I am older and realise that ...when I speak I hear my mothers voice. I walk like my father. Can I ever deny that? And my actions are the same as theirs... My arrogance just melts away, and my love for them just grows Same way one day we will be mature enough to see God within us, and we becoming God. If we are God, then there are no problems, all suffering will melt away. I pray to mother to give you and me the courage to see her within us, to fill our hearts with her; I pray to her that your problems will melt and one day you will be able to look back at them and consider them as just tough paths in your life May you be her blessed child! love shaktakaur_bayant <shaktakaur_bayant wrote: Hello Everyone, I am a new member of this beautiful group on Maa. Has anyone heard about Sri Kavoor Kamakshi? I am undergoing a lot of personal problems and want to feel Maa is there for me. Thanks! Shaktakaur Stay in the know. Pulse on the new .com. Check it out. Guest guest
dear shriramgaru, i am devoted to devi from childhood and later to dattatreya also,i finished my engng recently,i am telugu brahmin srivatsasa gothra.i read sai satcharitra ,sri gurucharitra and also gurugita.is it correct to chant lalitha sahasranama without initiation, though i am doing it from long time?i asked goda venkateshwara sastry garu and he told to chant it with devotion, but still some people say it cannot be chanted without intiation into panchadasi or bala mantra.i have raed much about srividya but did not approach anyone due to fear of getting trapped in hands of false gurus! also recently i started reading dattatreya vajra kavacham from a book published by peetham of devi near my home. i see this is also beeing published by gita press, gorakhpur. can i continue to chant it?in that it is written to chant " om draam " 108 times after panchopachara puja and start reciting kavacham. i request u to enlighten me on this as i have no knowledge of mantra shastra regards, sandeep
Guest guest
Dear Sandeep, This is a single-window reply to all your queries: 1. Dattatreya Vajra Kavacham can be chanted without initiation. However,You may skip the Datta-beejam part alongwith the nyAasas till you get the Datta-beeja initiation. 2. Goda Venkateshwar Sastryji is a good speaker in Bharatiya Vidhya Bhavan and has lot of bookish knowledge but Srividya upasana is different.I have met him and he talks nice.He looks very learned and that is about it.Else, I would have taken Him to be my Guru while I myself was in an intense search of Amba-gurus.Good speakers are for audience,Good authors are for readers but good gurus alone are for disciples. He is not an authority on it,why for that matter no one is an authority on it.But the fact still remains that Lalitha Sahasranama has to chanted wit Panchadasi initiation and With devotion as he says. 3. To get a Good Guru, one must pray Amba, when you have so much faith and confidence that the litany can be chanted with devotion for and before Amma, the same faith and devotion must be exercised and Amba be prayed to show guidance for a Good Guru. One must not be selective about things, especially in spirituality. , " devraj.sandeep " <devraj.sandeep wrote: > > dear shriramgaru, > > i am devoted to devi from childhood and later to dattatreya also,i finished my engng recently,i am telugu brahmin srivatsasa gothra.i read sai satcharitra ,sri gurucharitra and also gurugita.is it correct to chant lalitha sahasranama without initiation, though i am doing it from long time?i asked goda venkateshwara sastry garu and he told to chant it with devotion, but still some people say it cannot be chanted without intiation into panchadasi or bala mantra.i have raed much about srividya but did not approach anyone due to fear of getting trapped in hands of false gurus! also recently i started reading dattatreya vajra kavacham from a book published by peetham of devi near my home. i see this is also beeing published by gita press, gorakhpur. can i continue to chant it?in that it is written to chant " om draam " 108 times after panchopachara puja and start reciting kavacham. > > i request u to enlighten me on this as i have no knowledge of mantra shastra > > regards, > > sandeep >
