Guest guest
Dear Sandeep, Before I answer that I wanted to say also this: You said that ambA darshanam is not possible without initiation into mantras, then how come even at a young age without any initiation you had the darshan of Kanakadurgammavaru as you claim? Isn't this a contradiction on your part? So, think over what I said about clarity and being steady. ---------------------------- Ok, I do not entertain astrological debates or questions much in this Group.Maybe I will start another group later on for that purpose.I do bring about some topics of interest in astrology sometimes especially when it has kArmic questions involved.I normally enetertain astrological requests only for/from close friends and family and am not a professional astrologer eeking my living out of astrology. However, I will answer your question(Please note, this would be the last): AtmakAraka has many meanings in many systems: In kAlachakra system, it means Sun.Even Western Astrology has Sun as the significator of soul. In jAimini it has a different meaning In nAdis it has a different meaning and Thus you must tell me which AthmakAraka you mean. Ok, Im assuming you must have downloaded some popular online software like JHora or Horoscope Explorer and come at this Saturn AthmakAraka business. And this would mean, the highest longitude of the particular reigning planet has been taken. ------------------- Athma kAraka is KING in a particular horoscope and other factors like Vargottama, gopurAmsa, debilitation, exaltation, etc make it the most powerful planet to reckon either positively or negatively in the native's horoscope. Normally, I cross-check the computer generated horoscope with a manual calculation too for various aspects too.So, one must calculate the AthmakAraka with precision and double-verify with a manual calculation. Other kArakAs like putra-kAraka,amAthyakArakA,etc are all subjugate to this AthmakAraka. In jAimini system it is used to delinate one's ishta-devathA and for this jAimini navAmsA is what I use.I dont use the parAsarI navAmsa to delinate spiritual results or ascertainment. Everything in your life must be approved by your AthmakArakA.Various activities of life indicated by various nAisargika kAraka and relationships sustained by various people indicated by charakAraka will need the explicit approval or support of the AthmakAraka. rAjayOgAs and other significant yOgas either are made or broken by AthmakAraka(asper jAimini) and not many astrologers know this subtle aspect and those few who know it rarely use it. I have 3 Gurus for astrology from 3 different states--Kerala,Andhra and Tamilnadu and among them, my Andhra Guru laid bare to me the importance of AthmakAraka and the control of it over one's career and profession. When the amAthyakAraka replaces AthmakAraka, then a karmayOgi is born. And like this we have many other significant factors to reckon in depth seeing the jAimini-kArakAs.It is a stunningly accurate study,I have seen this personally with 100% of my cases. Saturn as AthmakAraka(jAimini) gives it a kArmic touch. The person is not capable of giving other people sorrow much but will have to suffer the sorrow of others or feel depressed very much and this affects the spouse, family, especially children, etc negatively. However, the native is very hardworking, skilled very much in the kind of work he does and learns basiclaly by observation(visual apparatus used much by the person). He shall have misfortunes until he has the blessings of a tradition or linegae of spiritual masters. This I have seen in many Saturn-Athma-kArakA natives. He also has a tendency to be orthodox which he covers by going overboard by behaving like an extreme heterodox, this is the paradox of sorts for Saturn Athmakaraka natives! The said trait is more pronounced especially during the years of growing up. Perfectionism, following elders-taught-skills in any profession, health issues, becoming innure to pain and suffering slowly, etc are also frequent happenings in such natives. Good luck would come forth with: Learning to respect elders and also servants The major path defined for this AthmakAraka is: karma yOgA(This becomes obvious given the nature of Saturn) Hope this clarifies your doubt. But what I have said is from a jAmini perspective but you have to consult a good astrologer and get to know in detail about your AthmakAraka and other nuances related to it(like chara-AthmakAraka and its placement in rAsi,chalitha/bhAva chakra and krishnamishra navAmsA; relationship with bhAva-kAraka,etc).
