She in her various forms as Tandu MARIAMMAN, Karu MARIAMMAN, Muthu MARIAMMAN and other names is the most popular Deity in Tamil Nadu. As far as I know there is no book in English about her though there are some books in Tamil. I shall be glad to be of any help in your noble endeavour. I am based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
