Guest guest
to everybody, sree mathre namah, i wish express my displeasure over the usage of sacred words or bijaksharas on a more general and public platform like this. to discuss about Goddess and mother is always welcome but the usage of powerful bijaksharas as addressings and connotations is certainly not welcome. especially i have been watching the useage of one particular string of letters which are being written for mantra of Tripura Bhairavi (one of Dasa Mahavidyas) is certainly erroneous because the said letters are not the mantra as is being endorsed by one of our friends. i can give quotes from the established and important books that gives mantras of all the Mahavidyas and this one doesnot find its place. sanskrit words end with 'm', symbolising the the ardhanuswara of the Pranava but doesnot end with 'n' like in Hasain which can never be equal to hasaim ( iam in an inescapable position to use the words which i should not write) and also the second Bijakshara. probably the writing in English m ight be changing the pronounciation of the letter which is what i wish to express anyway. each mantra has a certain chandas (metre) with which the letters or the bijaksharas are arranged in order to make a mantra to give enormous amount of energy. of course just reciting any few words offhand is not going to give any sort of energy or good wishes lest one should get himself initiated from a Guru who teaches his desciple to spell, perform the necessary rites and see that he could make himself eligible to hold such an enornmous amount of energy and each person has got a particular state of constitution and based on which the results of the same mantra vary according even though the modus operandi remaining the same. before practicing or reciting any mantra one has to purify his hands and feet (kara sudhi nyasa) and the six basic parts of the body which are necessary (shat shakthi nyasa) and before that one has to pay his respects to the Rishi who has found that mantra, who h as actually visualized (Drashta) the deity in the form which has been elucidated in the Dhyana Sloka, one has also need to know the metre or the chandas the way to pronounce each syllable, the long sounding and the short sounding letters and their time of pronouncing ( matra kala or time to pronounce each word of that mantra) for eg., in the panchadasi mantra each word has a seperate time prescribed for pronouncing such as 1 matra , 2 matras and even 9 matras to be precise. So a mantra is not just made easily and is not a piece de resistance or a decorative item but is a 'Janma karma nivaraka' or the key to alleviate all your deeds, both good and bad and take you to a state of no difference, the state of Samadhi ( Sama dhih iti samadhi ie., to mantain a constant state of mind and buddhi without making any intention and also the negative of it ie., Sankalpa and vikalpa) i doesnot wish to hurt anybody's feelings or intentions as this is a forum for discussion over Mother and we are all children to our Mother. please excuse your brother, me, if i had done so, unknowingly, always at the feet of Guru, Samvidananda natha.
