Guest guest
Hello, I am in search for a description of Devi Loka, the Heaven of Devi. There are many descriptions of Goloka, Krishna's Heaven, but where to find one of Devi Loka? Has someone an idea? Kind regards, Alexandra
Guest guest
The Tantras have many descriptions of Devi (esp. Lalita) as being on a Lotus on a Gold-throne, surrounded by a wine-ocean. Shri Sukta and others of the Vedas also speak of various aspects of Deviloka. She often appears surrounded by Devas and Mahadevas (her attendants), and also by Dakinis (female angel-like beings). But, the Tantras are perhaps the best source, as their dhyanas describe Devi's Lokas more clearly. Hope this helps! -R > > " Alexandra Kafka " <alexandra.kafka > 2002/01/06 Sun AM 11:36:26 GMT+12:00 > " Sankar Viswanathan " > Devi Loka > > Hello, > > I am in search for a description of Devi Loka, the Heaven of Devi.
