Guest guest
Namaste everyone; I bow before my Satguru, Jagat Janani, and all of the assembled devotees on this chat and abroad. 1)Hello Hell Angel! How are you? Judging by your interests in bands like Coal Chamber and Limp Bizkit (bands that I am not really into. Korn's first two albums were pretty okay though! Jonothan Davis can do pretty nifty things with his voice and the song " Clown " is pretty cool)...I'd say you're anywhere from 15-18. 2)And no, I am not from India. India's great and wonderful with all it's saints and holy temples, etc. but... I AM CANADIAN!!! Born and raised in Vancouver. I'm just really into Hindu spirituality, ie: tantra, yoga, folk shamanism...etc. Believe me, when my Satguru met me I had blue/bleached white hair, a fitted tight long sleeve top that I borrowed from my sister, and velvet flares (Trent Reznor is my fashion hero). I was trying to test my Guru's level of acceptance for me. He's a really great person. I love him like a father, and he doesn't care how my external appearance is! 3)Kemp, my friend, to answer your question: " industrial " music is a style of music that incorporates heavy metal/new-wave with excessive electronic elements. You can download some songs off of mp3 or another music server. Some of my favourite industrial groups are " KMFDM " , " Ministry " , " Nine Inch Nails " , " Apoptygma Berzerk " , " Einsturzende Neubautuen " and " Steril " . It's a form of music that's really popular in the underground scene...especially in Germany! As this subject is not very Sakta nor Saiva related (aside from the fact that God is EVERY SINGLE MINISCULE SUB-ATOMIC TO MONUMENTOUS THING IN THE UNIVERSE....and BEYOND!!!!)I'll now explain to sister Hell Angel what we are about-from my perspective! I, like all Hindu Indian householder spiritualists, try to keep a good, healthy balance between my spiritual life and extra-curricular life-attemting to fuse the two together whenever my awareness allows me to not see the duality. As we all know (I am addressing mainly the Saktas/Saivas on this site) the spiritual and material, perceived sacred and assumedly profane; all opposites are merely two ends of the same pole and that pole is not a pole at all-just the pinnacle of all of existence which is actually from ONE source, and yet none at all! So, you see Hell Angel, we are not " different " . My interests in Tantrism is the link which allows me to commune with these wonderful devotees on this site. And my " worldly " side is what sparked up this subject for discussion. It's all part of one beautifully orchestrated dance of unity, sharing, and free expression-which is life, nay, the Divine Herself. ____________________ Web-hosting solutions for home and business! http://website..ca
