Guest guest
I am happy to be back with my family. Unfortunately I was cut off by the telephone dept. for 15 days. Now when I come back I am inundated with more than 500 e-mails. I am yet to sort them out and go through them. What I did was to sort the messages from our group and read them. Things have been happening pretty fast in our group. I am really happy that the group has come alive with many members contributing. I would like to add my two bit to the various threads of discussion. But it will take me some time to read, digest and react. So here I go. When I read Shyam's messages I remembered what older people told me and other younger people 40 years back. Watch your language! Don't you think anything as sacred? How can you be flippant about such serious and sacred matters? I am tempted to say the same things. But these words of caution had no effect on me 40 years back and will not have any effect on me now also. So I can only say please ensure that your message does not hurt the feelings of anyone. Many a time we end up by hurting others when we have no intention of doing so. You lose your energy by this action and do not gain anything. We are all Bhakthas of MAA and would like to build up positive energy. Sorry if it looks like sermonizing. It is sermonizing and as a Saktha Evangelist I do indulge in sermonizing. But I really liked your messages and you have set a lot of people thinking. Your contributions are valuable. I bought a Thirumandhiram book, which gives the original verses with English translation and interpretation so that I can read it in Tamil and also understand it. More about it later. About Sri. Saravana Kumar's message about Mantras I can understand how you feel about Mantras. There are two viewpoints to this question. I am working on this. I will post tomorrow. Jai MAA KAALI!!!
