Guest guest
dear Bhaktas, i have some doubts regarding atma and Paramatma. please clarify them. sometiems i get confused by reading books. many times i tried to argive with athiests trying to convert them to the way of God. but i failed in all the cases mainly bcos they asked me questions which i myself had doubts. the first doubt is: many religions like hinduism follow the principle of karma. it is said that the life a pesron gets in this world is based on his previous birth. and what he does in this birht will affect his next birth. and it is said that the fate of a person including the way he behaves is written by Brahma before hand. and this would be true for his previous birhts also. then where does his will comes into picture. every thing is pre destined. like one atma behave this way and will be born this way and another will be born in another way. then where is the will of the atma. it is said that after repeated number of births and deaths , the seld realizes to achieve God. but even this is pre destined. if we go bact tracing this way the numerous lives a soul has entered into, we get into its first life, then for what reason did it get that first life. this may be an indirect question of where did God come from. another question is what exactly is the nature of Atma and Paramatma. i many times get confused about the existence of creation. i some times ask myself why did God created this life and to matain that life He will be like Rama and Krishna. i think that it would have been so nice if he had not created it. in many books i have found answers like it is like a child play to Him. in Bhagawad Gita also ,i listened Him(casette) saying that whoever doent follow the rules laid according to him will downfall. in Prabhupada's Baghavatam,i found an answer that He does so bcos He is Supreme. but i was not satisfied with that answer. why do many people have to suffer in this world. the obvious answer is bcos of their past lives. if He is so merciful, why doesnt He take all the souls into Him and keep them forever. or is there any thing that even He cannot do to prevent the seperation of the souls from Him. bcos in Jai Hanuman serial ind dd, in one episode when Narada cursed Narayana that He be born in Earth and get help from vanaras bcos he was made a vanara once. at that time i heard Him saying to Lakshmi Devi that " even I am bound by the laws of Karma " . in many other books,i have found answers that religion cannot be explained it has to be experinced like the state of a jivan muktat cannot be explianed. please dont consider me an atheist. i just wanted to clarify some of my doubts. ______________________ Looking for a job?
