E-Mail attachments & Uploading of Photographs

The facility for sending of email attachments was removed because of

a virus attack on 29/01/2002. I had posted a message also.

 

Worms propagate by sending e mail to all the addresses in the address

book. So even if one member gets a virus we are all open to attack.

 

Text of earlier Message

 

" In order to prevent virus attacks through E-Mail I have disabled

E-Mail attachments.This will ensure that no virus is spread through

E_mail from this group. "

 

 

About photographs to be uploaded the procedure is as under.

 

a. Log on to the Saktha Family group.

 

b. Click the button photographs on the left. This will take you to

the photograph section.

 

c. You will find six albums

 

1. Dasa Maha Vidya

2. Maa Bagavathi

3. Maa KAALI

4.Maa Lalitha

5. Photo Album

6. Yantras

 

You decide the album depending on the type of photograph

 

d.Click on the album you want.

 

e. The album will open. Click on add photos.

 

f. You will get a form

 

1. Locate photograph. Click on browse and locate the photo on your

hard disk. Once you locate the file and click open the path of the

file will automatically come to this form.

2. Name your photo.- appropriate name to be typed

3. Description - give the description if any

4. Size your photo- click medium

 

5.Now you are given an option - preview - upload- cancel

 

Click on upload.

 

The file will be automatically uploaded.

 

Once the upload is over you can go back to the form and upload

another file. Though a number of photographs/files can be uploaded

simultaneously it is better to do it one by one.

 

Post a message as soon as you upload a photo to inform other members.

 

I had advised many members individually about the procedure.

 

However if you have any problem uploading the photograph please send

the photograph to me at sankarrukku
