Guest guest
dear all in srividya upasana, after finishing mahaganapathi mantras, the sadhaka is initiated into Shyamala or mantrini mantra. the anga, upanga and prathyanga devathas of Shyamala are Lagushyamala, Vaagvaadhini and Nakuli Vageeswari. The sadhaka takes up japa of Shyamala mantra and worships the yantra and / or vigraha of Shyamala through avarana pooja. In the course of the avarana pooja, the anga/upanga/prathyanga devathas are propitiated. Shyamala represents the Intellect Sakthi (Buddhi Faculty) of Lalitha. Usually, it is during this period, the sadhaka undertakes scriptural study, and understands the mental roadblocks that obstruct his sadhana. In dasamahavidhya, one of the 10 mahavidyas is Raja Mathangi. Her worship is similar to Shyamala's in many respects. But people who are in Mathangi path take up a more detailed sadhana of this deity itself. If I am right, Naguli Vageeswari worship features here too. I am not very sure about the exact date of navarathri of Naguli Vageeswari. Could somebody enlighten? Please bear with any inaccuracies in the above message regards ashok sundaresan
