Thanks for all of you who have guided me.

I am not sure where I can find mango leaves here.

I think either mango leaves or Tamalapaku leaves (so

called in telugu, which are used for giving Tambulam

to Devi) can be used. But I am not sure whether I can

find these also.

I stay in Lawrence, KS which is a town and I am not

sure whether I can find these leaves.

Is there any substitue for those leaves.

I was confused a bit about the direction of the

coconut - should the eyes of the coconut be upwards or

should it be downwards.

Dear Balasubramanyann garu,

I always keep some of the things in sankalpam blank

when I recite that because I am not sure what to say

here.

I stay in kansas state.

Can you please send a reply what should I include in

the " nadhi " blank and I also leave the " date " blank

bcos I dont have a telugu calender that has the

corresponding name for the day.

It would be nice if u send me the complete sankalpam.

I am practitioner of Sri Vidya and it is hard to get

in touch with my GuruJi within this short period so

any instructions are fully acknowledged.

He told me to draw a yantra to place the kalasa on.

I do not remember that know bcos I never kept kalasam

here.

I could only remember two triangles but it is not

complex like Sri Yantra.

I do not know if there is anything other than two

traingles.

Is it possible for you to send me a word document that

has the yantra pic that should be used to keep kalasam

on.

He has told me anganyasa, karanyasa and mantram.

So I am thinking of to follow the same routine with

doing kunkuma puja with Kadgamala Namas instead of

Kadga mala stotram as I do regularly.

I offer honey to Devi daily, shall I have to offer any

thing special during the auspicous days.

I am thinking of to offer Payasam on the Vijaya Dasami

day.

I do not know but sometimes I feel like offering beer

and chicken to Devi.

Is that bad - I never did that though.

Pls forgive me if that thought itself is a sin.

If this is can be done, I am afraid of the what the

people around me think of that bcos generally people

think negatively and they may think that I practice

black magic.

Many people thougt that when I was in my undergrad and

when I suddenly changed very much religous though at

that time I was just putting Deepam to Devi.

I stay in a closed complex of apartments where many

Indians stay.

Even my roommates may think bad of me when I do this.

Thanks a lot.

Dear sir,

This is in response to the yantra and about offering

honey etc.

When your guru has taught you the yantra, you should

have made sure that you noted it down somewhere. Well

when guru has taught u anganyasam, karanaysam and

mantra there is nothing else you need. Do as your guru

has suggested. He is everything. He is the right

person to lead you. Just blindly follow what he says.

During navarathri, offer 5 kinds of food to devi

everyday. milk, honey, dates, pomegranate fruit, and

payasam or some sweet on all the ten days. It is said

she is particularly fond of pomegranate.

Regards

neela

Dear s v saikumar

i read your e-mail and it reminded of me , i live in United Kingdom, i

suffer with same issues , people thinking i am doing some kind of black

magic, i strugled alot in the begining but then i use to talk to MAA to

alliviate this problem, and so by miricle the same people who quastioned me

are caming to my alter for the prayers. so i believe she always looks over

her sons.

You wrote sometimes u feel like offering beer and chiken, i don't know the

answer to that but i will tell u sometime i feel like offering my blood,

which i have not yet done.

regarding Kalasam, i am also in serch of a way to place the kalasam during

Devi navratri, i will urge Brothers and sisters to please guide me with

this.

Let me tell u my story when i started praying to maa i did'nt have any Guru

Or somebody to direct me but somehow i always felt what i am doing is

correct and it pleases Maa, every thing i do is with hers direction even

2date i know she will find the way for me to pray during Devi Navratri, as

soon as i wake-up on first Navratri i will be guided what to do.

I read Devi Mahatmay during Devi-Navratri, if anybody would like to shed

somw light on this.

In U.K Navratri starts on 7th of oct 2002, please check your calender again.
