What I have written is not consciously written. I felt impelled to write these lines. I hope that i have not committed blasphemy as such. Please tell me what you all think of this. I am also sending the pic which inspired me........ I asked the Lord… " Oh Lord, You lie in the cremation ground, oblivious to the burning pyres. The jackal howls and the raven cries. The bhutas and pischasas run hither and thither. The world and all in it fear the cremation ground and what it represents. Yet, You lay down in the middle as one drugged with a smile. Is it because You have Devi's lotus feet dancing upon Your chest? Or is it Her beauty that enchants You so? Does the music of Her bangles and anklets delight Your ears so? Or the fragrance from Her body that makes You drunk? They say that You have three eyes to drink in Kali's form. Is it so? If so, will you grant me a thousand eyes?
