Guest guest
Gaudiya Sampradaya was established by Shri Chaitanya mahaprabhu who was real spiritual and enlightened person ,but after his departure gradually his followers fallen for literal meaning of his saying, forgetting real and abstract meaning ,as it happened with all other great spiritual master and their followers.Masters are always men of first hand real spiritual experience and followers are lacking this experience and thus sticking to literal meaning of saying of their master. This is the real reason for all extreme views found today in almost every corner of world. Shri Prabhupad took the teaching of Gaudiya Sampradaya to the west-the land of Christianity.Christianity holds the same extreme viewpoint about Christ and Christianity and thus ISKON too, developed ,as an antidote of Christ and Christianity same extreme dogmas about Krishna and Gaudiya Vaishnavism. Both are sailing in the same boat of religiose bigotry and fanatics. Be it Hindu,Buddhist,Christian or Islam, this type of extreme intolerant of others diverse viewpoints are real danger to the world. What they think is religion in reality it most irreligion and what they think is love is nothing but hatred. Let me paste here an article which I had written on my webpage http://in.msnusers.com/ShirishGajjar UNITY OR DIVERSITY Recent carnage of Gujarat has opened up many vital issues. Is religion a force of unity or division of human kind? The way events are unfolding, it is a definitely force of division. Man committed all sort of atrocities on another man only because he belongs to different group. We have seen naked dance of violence, hatred, rape, murder and all types of vices. There is a universal force pervading entire cosmos. This is ultimate truth. This is a creator, as well as destroyer. This truth lies beyond the veil of physical world. This is the essence of life death. Without understanding it, nothing could be understood. Without achieving it, nothing could be achieved. This is ultimate reality of not only every man but also every life. All is one and one is all. Though out history this One has been given thousands name and description in different regions. Some one called One God, others Ultimate Principal. Some one called it Shiva, others Vishnu and others Allah. Some one described it as Atma, others Nirvana while other preferred name Ahura Mazda. And so no… Through out history, in different region, many enlighten and noble souls seen and experienced this all-pervading reality. We have called them as Son of God or prophets, saints, Avataars and some times God Himself. All these noble and enlighten souls tried to described the ultimate one. They succeeded and failed, as they attempted to describe Undescribable, they tried to reach Unreachable, they tried to see Unseen! They had described it, keeping in their mind the culture, language, dogmas, traditions and pervading beliefs of those times. That is why they differed, though they were describing one and only one, their style were different, their language were another. Ignorant masses that succeeded them took the descriptions literally. They stuck to literal meaning of the descriptions. They were singing Song, lacking substance! And thus religions, though originating from same Unity, became force of division. And everybody, while defending their own beliefs, they hated, looted, murdered and destroyed or tried to destroy others who possessed different sets of belief. Thus the stream of Divine converted into flood of devil! Let us see the essence of each religions, not superficial dogmas and belief. Let go to the root of creation, not outwardly manifestations of it. Let be tolerant, not a fanatics. Let make this world a peace full, heavenly abode of Truth and non-violence, not a burning hell of loot, arson and murder.Jiyo aur jine do-Live and let live.
