Guest guest
Every human is an incarnation of God, right? So can one reach enlightenment by worshipping any ordinary person as god/goddess? Does that only work with Avatars, or certain spiritual advanced persons like ones Guru? Or does that also work with commpletely ordinary persons? For instance Indian women in erlier times regarded their husbands as gods, and then there is also the worship of Devi in form of virginal girls. Guest guest
Yes.Every person is an incarnation of God.There exist nothing, but God.All other perceived are Maya.'Sarva khalu idam Brahman' -Upanishads.It means that whatever is seen/perceived by five senses and mind is Brahman only including the perceiver. Yes/One can reach final enlightenment by worshipping not only common ordinary person, but animal and plant also !The reason is very simple. It is because everything ultimately Brahman only.Outwardly labels like enlightened Guru/Yogi or ordinary person, genius or fool, man or animal etc are nothing but Maya-illusion. It is not a enlightened Guru who liberates us,but our own belief/action.Our own Dristi or belief is only our saviour. Yes.Woman can achieve Moksha(final liberation) by simply worshipping her husband as God and same with men also. How wonderful domestic/married life will be,if men and women considers each other as Divine !It is real solution of today's increasing marital discords all over world.Every married man is Narayan and woman Mahalaxmi ! Simply wonderful ! Alex ! Very pleased to see that you goes for this kind of enquiries which is a real Dwar-Gate to Moksha(Liberation) SHIRISH svgajjar http://in.msnusers.com/ShirishGajjar Bombay,India. ---- Sunday, June 29, 2003 07:33: worship of human beings Every human is an incarnation of God, right? Guest guest
This is an open protest to posts by Kafka, this individual posts the same queries in so many groups simultaneously. Then despite receiving replies and conducting discussions on the subject in one group pursues the same questions in other groups. Kafka, once you have acquired the knowledge you seek from one group why do you not even share the replies with other groups in much the same way like you post all your queries. So it appears you knowledge seeking quest is rather one sided and selfish wherein you mine for the answers but refuse to share with others what you do learn!! The last few times I posted the discussions you had in " other groups " to sakhtha family hoping that you would get the hint. For sake of simple clarity and basics, hinduism does preach and practice selfless service to fellow human beings, love and compassion besides ofcourse SHARING. So before you get into further " knowledge mining " you should probably bear that in mind!! - Alexandra Kafka Thursday, June 26, 2003 8:11 PM worship of human beings Every human is an incarnation of God, right?
