Thank you for posting the picture of Manapully Kavu Bhagavati. This

temple is our 'adima kshetram'. Although I am currently settled in

the US, Mannapra, Palaghat is where I hail from.

 

I have a question. I recently read a blog in Sulekha as to the

hierarchy of the Devi/Devatas and much importance was given to the

Kuladevata/Devi as a Protector and an immediate solution to problems

in life. Is this 'adima' status same as a Kula Devi?
