have a picture of idol durga seating in a lion.Along with that i have a silver

stautue of lakshmi n Ganesh.Today i got one more picture of godess Kali with

foot on the lord shiva.And one more picture showing maa kaalis face which

describes her face n her tongue coming out.Friends,i just need to know that is

it good to keep dakhshina kalis picture at home.And i heard that keeping three

Jai Maa! There is no problem. Maa will bless you. In my guru's temple are

many statues of Goddesses. And in my temple also. Part of the Chandi Path

speaks of worshipping many different apects of the Goddess. They are many but

they are also only one Devi. So in truth, you could have ninety million images

and it would only be one Goddess. As Maa says in the Chandi, " There is only Me

here! "

hi

first of all you remove this feeling that these are three goddess. If you

remember the story in Srimad devi bhagwat Mahapuran Mahakali and Kaushiki

emerged from the body of Maa Parwati. So, there is no difference between

the goddess... Maa Dakshineshwari  Kali is said as Jagadjanni so as Maa Durga...

so don't get confussed just be as a  little child before her. Give her all your

grieves,tension, joy, happiness to her and bocome empty as if u have nothing of

your own.... Just she is your mother and your are her little child..... remember

a child doesn't need to know the name of her mother... he just love her.....

Yes it is very Good. The murti in Dakshineshwar is Dakshina Kali. The

photograph is kept in the Puja rooms and houses of millions of Bengalis and also

other devotes of Sri Ramakrishna through out the world.

I have been keeping at least 15 images of Goddesses at home. In all the rooms.

Only Kitchen and bathrooms do not have Goddess images.

 

There is a background to such thinking. There are lot of misconceptions about

Maa Kali and Durga in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. It also extends to Karnataka and

Andhra Pradesh also. But this is strange in Tamil Nadu where we have the maximum

(and the oldest) number of temples of Maa Kali and Kerala where there are

thousands of Bhagavathi temples.

 

I will post about the origin and basis of such wrong notions if the

family members are interested. Please let me know.

Don't get confused. Just be as a little child before her. Give her all your

grieves,tension, joy, happiness to her and become empty as if u have nothing of

your own.... Just she is your mother and your are her little child..... remember
