Meaning:

 

I won't be afraid a bit for birth.

What else would be the case for death?

I do not want the heaven even if given.

I would not stay to be revered by the ruler of the land.

Oh the shiva of honey residing floral konRai!

My Lord! My Mother-like!

I would be anxious as, " When would be the day I get Your grace? "

1. These are not just the words coined by a poet to

act renounced. This is from the anubhUthi - experience

diary of the saint, who quit the chief ministership of the

great pANDiya kingdom and considered " ODum kavanthiyumE

uRavu " and sought the wealth of Lord shiva only.

2. The great people hold on to the Feet of Lord shiva

to come out of birth-death cycle. Our saint is staying

ultimate. The birth-death cycle does not concern him.

All he has is the longing for the grace of God. When

he is able to enjoy the Grace of God, how would it matter

to him whether he is in mortal coil or free from it?
