Lunar Eclipse

Dear All,

I would greatly appreciate anyone's input as to the effects or

alteration of one's practice during the upcoming Lunar Eclipse.

It coincides with the full Moon this time, and it seems (to me) that it

is particularly auspicious as the full Moon is the culmination of

Shukla Paksh and fulfillment of the Nityas in Lalita Tripurasundari.

Thank you for the clarification.

Having once been able to see an eclipse in total once, I do remember it being on

a full moon. On that occasion the moon was darkened and became totally visible

again in a matter of a few hours. It was fascinating to see this phenomenon.

But now, as a person who does nightly devotions to the Nityas as part of my Sri

Vidya practice I am curious as to whether there is a particular traditional

variance or focus that is appropriate to this observance.

Any advice would be helpful.

Thank you,

Namaste

BTW, lunar eclipses are *always* on the full moon, when the moon is most

opposite the sun and the earth casts a shadow over the moon.

I really got it about the full moon/eclipse connection the first time the

moderator mentioned it in my first post.

Sadly, in the desire to correct me, the point of both of my posts was

overlooked.

That was to get information or advice on the influence of the eclipse on my

practice as regards the culmination of the Nityas in Tripurasundari on the full

moon prior to the diminishing on approach to new moon when the process repeats

- or more appropriately - continues.

Daily Puja with the Nityas is a relatively new aspect of my practice and I am

still learning the process.

Fortunately I was able to find that information elsewhere.

Have you tried to look at the homepage. I believe the answer is all

there, if youre meant to get the answers.

And I believe many of us here too are still learning

Good for you. Perhaps you are meant to get the answers elsewhere.

Maybe this should stop you from asking further question, because you

just do not have the patience and virtue to understand any of this

waiting. Virtue itself is sadhana. If you cannot understand this,

then maybe you will never understand any of it. Good luck with

elsewhere!

Again lastly please rememeber Cliff aka Nandananda have you ever

thought that perhaps the person with the answer just do not wish to

answer to your question or maybe just not around online. We are

mostly householder here with our own family and social commitment

and not some full time swami sitting infront of the computer 24 hrs

a day attending to personal request.

If you are really a true seeker and a devoteed DEVI upasaka, you

would not mind to share what you have found elsewhere. Isnt that a

noble thing to do instead of whimpering like a spoilt child.
