This may seem to be a shameless piece of self advertisement, but given

the nature of the book, I do feel that a majority of members would be

interested. Hence I request the moderators to show a little indulgence

I have been working on the theme of rationalising and reconciling

AdvaitaVedanta with modern science for the past seven years .. and the

resultof this labour of love ( or love for labour ) is a book that i

have finally managed to publish

while the book is of great interest to me ( and hopefully you as well

!) what is even more interesting is the way that this has been

published. Not sure if you are aware .. but for an unknown author

writing for an unusual topic, the chances of anyone publishing -- or

rather funding the first print run -- is nearly zero. All publishers

ask for a down payment of the order of Rs 50K+ ..

 

so instead of going this route, i have used what is known as

" Online Self Publishing and Print-on-Demand " technology ... which

meansa copy of the book is printed ONLY when someone buys it .. and

believe me,the quality is so good that if i had not told you, you

would never know that this copy was not picked up at a bookshop. I am

so impressed with this technology that i have described in greater

!! it is very, very simple .. and since i have done this once, i can
