Guest guest
Hi All, I watched this alarming video earlier today, about how the Sunderban Island chain in India has already lost two of its islands to rising sea waters due to global warming, causing displacement of many former residents who are now called " Environmental Refugees " – a term we'll be hearing more often in the coming years? At first glance, such a story may seem out of place on SS but I wonder if that's really the case: isn't Shakti Sadhana, or for that matter, any form of Sadhana, about expansion and enlarging our sense of being? I am not sure what I, as an individual, can do about it -- action- wise-- apart from using sources of energy with discretion. But I do think that, since Universe responds to our thoughts and mirrors our consciousness, it'd help if the collective consciousness of a large group would, as part of everyday prayer, express gratitude to Mother Earth, and send Her love. It may go a little way in healing the wounds humans have recklessly inflicted on the Mother over the years. Please give it a thought. And before I forget in my emotional rambling, here is the link to the news video, if anyone is interested: http://tinyurl.com/2s6dnm In Ma's love, Durga
