IMHO spande and skandhe are used delibetarly. One who is throbbing (as

before teh big bang) and skandha as in support.

ADDENDUM:IMHO

mahaaspande should be translated as the great throbbin befoe teh Big

Bang

and Mahaa skandhe should be translated as

" The great support " .
