The sage Medhas said:

 

The gods say, 'Salutation always to her who is

moonlight, who has the form of the moon and is

blissful.' What does that mean? The Devi who is the

moon - that is to say, the source-and the Devi who is

moonlight - that is to say, its emanation, this universe -

are one and the same. [...] [The image] express[es] the

philosophy of nondualism - that there is one reality and
