Guest guest
You got it right. I just wanted to see how people respond. Because I always stand for the feminine, because the graceful femininity describes god more. But none of the replies raised to my expectations. I thought someone would refer our great Vedic system which has already given women the eligibility to worship any diety. The answer I would have given to such posts would be like: All women are the variations of the Great Goddess, as the gods praise Durga in the Markandeya Purana, " striya samastah tava devi bheda... " See how true it is! The absolute feminity is The Goddess.. and women are the infinitesimal portions of it.See how wonderful the concept is ! And talking about the vedic deities, the Manu Smriti clearly states: " where women are worshipped, there the deities rejoice. " Then it is obvious that deities are pleased by the reverence made to women. Then what to say about women worshipping them!! They would be extremely pleased. So no need to go to philosophical arguments, just quote the sacred rules. The Feminine aspect is purity,Femininity is the abode of tenderness, beauty,purity,chastity,sanctity...all the divine attributes Devibhakta got it right, I used the post to invoke answers only.
