Animal symbolisms for Devi.

Hello.

I was wondering if anyone knew of the animal symbolisms for the many faces of

Devi. To give an example of a Western deity, Morrigan of the Tuatha de Dunnan

(spelling?) has been associated with ravens.

Thank you.

Jai Ma!

Sincerely,

Christina H.

I hope the links given earlier were helpful. It's a big question, but

i'll just throw in there re the ravens that Dhumavati, one of the ten

Mahavidyas, is pictured with crows.

Wow, she has a similar concept to Morrigan, in a way...though there seems to not

be as much research on the web about her.

I only found Dhumavati mostly at sites that are...ahem...outdated. Sites that

still make a big deal about human sacrifice. *sigh* I guess some things do not

change so quickly.
