Guest guest
Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows of Amarananda Bhairavan. I ask this because I am considering buying the title Kali's Odiyya, one of his books. Amazon gave mostly good reviews, except for one. However, there are only 10 or so reviews, so I was wanting some more input for anyone who is familiar with this person. Thank you. Jai Ma! Sincerely, Christina
Guest guest
I haven't read the book (or its sequel), but my understanding, from conversations and previous discussion in the e-group, is that his work is pretty fictionalized. Here's an excerpt from the book: http://www.kalimandir.org/library/libraryhome.asp? page=articles & item=22_amav.xml or http://tinyurl.com/2hjoy4 That'll give you some idea of the writing style, so you can see if it's fiction you'd be interested in reading. Here's Nandu Menon's/Amarananda Bairavan's website. He lives in Southern California http://www.mystictantra.com/ , <IlluminatedCelestial wrote: > I was wondering if anyone knows of Amarananda Bhairavan. Guest guest
Yep, very fictionalized. Didn't ring true to me. Guest Naveen
Hi Christina, I know him since I was a teenager and I know that these exsperiences are true. He is a true mystic and leads a humble and sincere life. Once has to read the book to understand what this is about. I dont know if you will get this post, but I thought I should let you know that this is authentic and for true seekers who crave deeper understanding of the path of Tantra. Yes, it is hard for people to believe that these eszperiences happen, then I would ask, why bother with Tantra ? if one is not ready to experience something that science or intellect can never fathom ? Take a dive, what do you have to lose ? Naveen
