I asked something like : " Whether we're talking about a Tantric or non-Tantric approach, don't you have to dismantle your desire/attachment/repulsion/attraction structures anyway? " And he answered something like, " Well, sure.... " and the conversation went back to whatever else we'd been discussing. From the story in the Devimahatmya, I figure it all gets absorbed into Devi in the end. But I don't know if Tantra provides a " how " to deal with desires, etc., or if it's something that just comes, or if it's something one has to figure out for oneself.
