I'm a graduate student in the Seattle area, and I am interested in learning more about Sri Vidya and Shakta practice. I am particularly interested in the stotrams and prayers to Saraswati. I wonder if anyone knows of her stotrams and prayers that have been transliterated into English and maybe an accompanying CD. Jai Saraswati! Guest guest Posted January 29, 2008 Report Share Posted January 29, 2008 Sri gurubhyon Namaha, Shri Matre Namaha The first thing that you should be doing is say your prayers earnestly and ask mother for guidance, for Shri Vidya is the greatest of the knowledge that can be obtained from a competent guru, there are many sites that have the Shri Vidya Mantras, but they are of no use without a grur initiating you into it and in contrary it can you great harm, so i would suggest you to seek a proper guru who is well versed in Shri Vidya at least a poorna abhishek to initate you into it and then it is the path that you want to follow in Shri Vidya Upasana samya, dakshina, kaula. and the best way to get the grace of Lalithamba is to recite her slokas, as it is in her name 'NAMA PARAYANA PREETHA', if you need slokas in english and sanskrit, you have google to help you.
