Guest guest
Hello dear Devi, I am very new to all this, but feel an incredible pull towards Tantra. Everybody says that books are not what you really need, but a guru will be able to guide you. How does one find a guru? I know in the past I have been blessed to meet two gurus who I spent some time with, but that was while I was travelling and living like a nomad. Now I am in London and I know appearances are deceptive, but I dont even know where to start looking? Can anybody help with some advice? Guest guest
You can also pray for him or her to become apparent, calling from your heart, and without preconceptions. Be open, and patient as said before. Watch for the signs that may appear and follow them... (Good advice, perhaps I ought to take it myself... The Guru has never failed to appear an give what ever is necessary for progress. Leela
Guest guest
Hey All, OK thanks everyone, that really is encouraging. And I must say, in the past wise gurus did come to me, instead of me finding them. It is just that I havent really been in tune for a while and feel that perhaps I closed my eyes to the spiritual side of me and now really just want to make sure this does not happen again. What must one look for in a guru, what qualifies a guru really? I dont want to e gullile on this point? It seems there are so many gurus out there when I read all the mails posted on the groupmails, I kind of always thought gurus are quite rare. Hope you all have a nice evening.
