Guest guest
Ah, Msbauju, your posts on women saints and gurus have been delightful! I will hopefully visit Ma Karunamayi again this April when she comes through my city. She has been here 2 or 3 times now. She does attract large crowds and must have many " handlers " and others as part of her organization just to manage the crowds! In my experience, Ma Karunamayi's organization does a spendid job of it. All the handlers seemed intimidating at first, however, their efforts made the event and darshan proceed very smoothly. Despite the long lines for darshan, Ma Karunamayi seemed to directly connect with each seeker, and at least in my case, she said to me exactly and specifically what I needed to hear at that point in my sadhana. Many of my friends reported similar experiences. From her talks, I remember 2 main points, 1) Practice ahimsa in all of your words. Words can create much harm or much good. Mahamrtyunjaya Mantra spoken aloud can help to heal the environment. 2) Do not use a microwave oven. Thank-you agin for the posts! > " The aim of Sri Karunamayi's mission is universal peace > and spiritual upliftment of humanity. Her chief message > to us is to achieve higher levels of consciousness > through the regular practice of meditation, [....]
