O Mother! glory to that tongue of Thine, which is of the colour of

the JapA flower, and which unceasingly mutters prayers, reiterating

the glorious achievements of Thy Lord, while the crystal-like, bright

white body of SarasvatI seated at the top [of Thy tongue] gets

transformed into a ruby.

Ruby- as a result of the piece of crystal being set off against a red

background.
