Guest guest
Now any one who knows can see why we insist on gooroos. There is no anda (egg) in the mantra. It is andha. there is no runda there is rundha. So I hope ppl understand why we need gurumukhaadadavagantavya (from the guru's mouth). Itherwise this mantra will produce the anda of vaaraahi. , " prh_lakshmi " <prh_lakshmi wrote: > > > > Dear all, > > I am in search of varahi's moolamantra which starts like > > " Om varahi varahi varthali varthali ande andeni namo runde rundini > namo " > > It is not complete moola mandra please help me to get full moola mandra. > > > Thanks. >

Guest guest
Dear Lakshmi, Varahi, also known as Panchami, or the Fivefold One, bears the relation of " father " to Lalita, although pictured as a Devi. The mother form is Kurukulla Tara. Varahi gives four fires and Kurukulla five Shaktis -- this forming the complex shape in the centre of Shri Yantra. Varahi is fivefold as water, fire, earth, air and aether. These elements are related to lion, tiger, elephant, horse and Garuda -- the bird-human vehicle of Vishnu. Their colours are dark green, red, yellow, black and purple. Her mantra vidya of 110 letters is: Aim glaum aim namo bhagavati vartali vartali varahi varahi varahamukhi varahamukhi andhe andhini nama rundhe rundhini namah jambhe jambhini namah mohe mohini nama stambhe stambhini namah sarvadushta pradadushtanam earvesham sarvabak chitta chakshurmukhagatijihvastambham kuru kuru shighram rashyam kuru kuru aim glaum thah thah thah thah hum phat svaha. If you want more details about Varahi devi pls visit http://www.shivashakti.com [moderator's note -- in google, try site:www.shivashakti.com varahi ] Tks & Rgds Raman On Tue, 08 Apr 2008 prh_lakshmi wrote : > >I am in search of varahi's moolamantra which starts like > > " Om varahi varahi varthali varthali ande andeni namo runde rundini >namo " > >It is not complete moola mandra please help me to get full moola mandra. Guest guest
Dear Mr Pattu Raman, Kindly note that the mantra as you spelt in English, has quite a few mistakes. According to my guru, this mantra ought to be given to people who have gone well past the basic carnal emotions including the ari shadvargas. The mantra is supposed to be so powerful, that one who has it can inadvertently harm oneself and others as the mantra enhances the sankalpasiddhi of the upasaka. Though my Guru propounds total openness of Srividya upasana, he strongly advocates extreme caution regarding this mantra. Sankara

Guest guest
It is really very bad to see all you guys copying mantras from other websites & pasting them here... The mantra mentioned below has too many typo errors. Guest guest
Hi there I had written a few times earlier in this site that mula mantras especially of varahi should be received from a propoer guru only. Varahi is also the commander in chief of Lalita Tripurasundari and is fierce in form. Transliterating mula mantras which are in Sanskrit robs them of the correct way of incantation. Bijas like hum, phat etc., are like 25000 volt current and should be handled with proper stepdown transformers lest they burn out the user. Guest guest
dear lakshmi, i agree wth karen that bhakthi is more important than the correct form & pronounciation.sri raghavendra too, admonished a sanskrit scholar who made fun of a person who chanted the guru stotram wrongly. sri raghavendra felt strongly, that the bhakthi of the devotee more than made up fr his " ignorance " , in love and light, sarada
