Guest guest
Dear Friends: On behalf of Guruji, Amma and the entire Devipuram/Vi1 group, please accept our sincere wishes for Vasant Navarathri, Ram Navami and the Hindu New Year. On this festive occasion, we are pleased to release a very precious chanting of Sri Durga Saptashati by Guruji which was recorded in 1988 in Webster, NY at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Saroja Viswanathan on Guruji's first-ever trip to the United States. The recording can be downloaded at: http://www.devipuram.com/downloads/chandi_saptashati1.html More details on the chanting are available at the above link. However, one small excerpt on the power of this chanting is reproduced below: " ...The value of this [sri Durga Saptashati] recording however came to be known by scores of devotees in the following years. This recording of Guruji's Chandi recording, despite its noisy/primitive format, seemed to have a mystical power. People who played it in their homes, regularly and especially in the midst of some severe problems, seemed to have the dual benefit of peaceful acceptance and divine resolution. Numerous tapes were recorded and re-recorded and circulated widely as the power of this recording became evident... " Also, we are pleased to inform you that Guruji and Amma will be visiting Netherlands from April 15th to July 12th of 2008. If you would like to set up a meeting with them in Netherlands, kindly contact seva. We hope this special recording of Sri Durga Saptashati with bring joy, colour and Devi's grace to your lives. Guest guest
Unless you have a broadband connection, downloading a streaming file this size is almost hopeless. If you have dial-up but know of some place like a library that has wi-fi go there and download it. But without knowing where you are and what kind of connection you have it's difficult to advise you. Guest guest
Hi: Thx for ur reply. When I tried again it worked. I have a broadband connection. It downloaded quite fast. It was unusual why it could not download earlier. I could make a couple of audio cds out of this recording. abrasax365 wrote: Unless you have a broadband connection, downloading a streaming file this size is almost hopeless. Guest guest
I downloaded mine directly to iTunes, where it can be played in its entirety while I'm working at the computer. If you don't have iTunes, free downloads for both PC and Mac can be found at http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ At 5:42 PM -0700 4/16/08, anantam wrote: >>>The recording can be downloaded at: >> > ><<http://www.devipuram.com/downloads/chandi_saptashati1.html>http://www.devipur\ am.com/downloads/chandi_saptashati1.html><http://www.devipuram.com/downloads/cha\ ndi_saptashati1.html>http://www.devipuram.com/downloads/chandi_saptashati1.html >> -- -Regards, John Thomas
